With spring in full swing, it’s time to focus on regular mowing. Purchase a high-quality lawn mower to maintain the optimal grass height of around 2-3 inches.
Follow the 1/3 rule, which means each mowing should not remove more than one-third of the vertical height of the stem and leaf tissue, and should not damage the rhizomes. Otherwise, it may disrupt the balance between above-ground foliage growth and below-ground root growth, affecting the normal growth of the lawn grass.
